COMBAT STORIES FROM World War II

Dick Almand | 485th Bombardment Squadron, 501st Bomb Group, 315th Bomb Wing, 20th Air Force - Army Air Corps

2:53   |   On his last combat flight, B-29 radar navigator Dick Almand's target was 300 miles past the main Japanese Islands. At the time, it was the longest bombing mission ever attempted.
