3:20   |   During a mission to destroy communication lines along the Seine River in France in August of 1944, Sam O'Quinn's B-24 bomber took heavy flak damage. With a crash landing unavoidable, Sam, the radio operator, recalls his emotions as his crew anxiously attempted to coast the aircraft back across the English Channel to avoid a water landing.
