Audio Only - During WW2 Jared Warner entered the US Army as part of the 1st Armored Division 1st Battalion of the 13th Regiment at Ft Benning, Ga. He was shipped overseas and entered combat in North Africa near Tunisia.
Jared Warner enters combat against the Germans near Tunisia in N. Africa. He commands 5 tanks that all get destroyed by German 88's. He is captured by the Germans when a 88 round disabled his tank.
Taken prisoner by the Germans in N. Africa, Jared Warner is liberated when Allied Forces capture the prison ship he was aboard. He was mistakenly declared killed and surprised everyone when he was found alive on board the prison ship.
Jared Warner tells a personal story of serving under General Creighton Abrams, who the Abrams Tank is named after.
