When New Jersey boy Arthur Mohor graduated from high school, he wrestled with the two most important issues of his time, the looming war in Europe and the pursuit of ballrooms filled with Big Band dancing.
Arthur Mohor's experience as a photographer gave him a good eye looking through the sight of his anti-tank gun. He was made a gunner and his unit went on maneuvers with the mighty 101st Airborne as an opponent. "We were skunked!" Then, at his last training stop, he was able to get in some Big Band dancing before shipping out.
After crossing the Atlantic on a brand new luxury liner, Arthur Mohor had a lesson in absurdity. His unit was finally ashore in France, but they had an unbelievable task, baby sitting a giant water tank that no one seemed to know anything about.
