3:49   |   Tom Kennedy participates in the Battle of Bloody Gulch near Carentan on June 13, 1944. He recalls the German planes dropping flares as they moved through the night, and how his platoon got out of position. As they arrived at the battle, men were already being killed and wounded, and they began to resupply other troops with ammunition.
